THE unveiling of Numurkah’s permanent memorial to the district’s soldier settlers drew a huge crowd on the weekend, with over 300 people - many of whom had come from far afield -  gathering in Numurkah Memorial Park for the event.

The memorial is a display of five connected panels that cover all aspects o
